On the road to S. Teresa, at about 4 km, you meet on your right the road sign to the Porto Puddu residential village and to the Isola dei Gabbiani, connected to the main land by a sandy isthmus which turns into two crescent-shaped roadstead, a windsurf lover’s paradise, with two gorgeous fine sand beaches. Being popular from the beginning of spring until autumn, the island has become the destination of acrobatic windsurf competitions and championships.
The site is extremely beautiful and it faces the LA MADDALENA archipelago, whose islands can be easily reached. And just a few metres from the shore its clear waters boast a stunning view, full of sparkling fish and seashells.
