At about 7.5 km north of Siniscola lies Posada, built on the remains of the roman site of Feronia and dominated by the ruins of Castello Della Fana. Built in the12th century, the village was the main town of Curatoria di Montalbo in Giuducato Di Gallura. Along the coast there is the large Fontana-Orvili beach, which appears wild and lonely. In the interior at about 13 km from the village, there is Posada Lake, a big artificial body of water created by the barring of the homonymous river.
